19thc. barrel back leather wing chair
This 19thc. barrel back leather wing chair was made in the early 19th. century.
Covered in fine English leather before being hand dyed and then the final specialist finish for the antique feel. The leather is secured by hundreds of brass headed studs, a process that takes patience and a lot of skill.
The barrel back with the multiple pleats and then the good deep wings. It has a deep loose feather cushion.
The mahogany channelled moulded front legs with the Chippendale influence, and with the square splayed legs to the rear.
Imagine sitting back on here, relaxing after a hard day and feeling all the stresses flooding away as you settle down.
