Large Naples white porcelain Hercules tureen. Impressive and important neoclassical Ferdinando IV porcelain soup tureen with large Hercules and Theiodamas finial caping a scroll volute handled bowl worthy of the Longhena’s Salute in Venice. All on tripod lion paw and remarkably rare, lion pawed and shod feet. Old repairs to handles which do not detract. Italy, circa 1810.
