A rare oak and wrought iron jeweller’s work table.
Robust riveted wrought iron base mounted on oak sleigh feet, the thick oak top is cut from a single plank and has three shaped cutouts for individual workers, retaining a crudely added steel plate and the remnants of various pieces of leather left to one shaped edge, later holes for lighting and gas taps.
Richly patinated and left in an unpolished raw state.
