“Two Small Contemplation Boxes, 3 Inch Cubes, Hand Built Glazed Stoneware”
A pair of small 3 inch cube box or bud vase to hold your thoughts or a tiny flower. Hand carved line-drawn geometric designs, each side is different. One is flat with a rectangular opening. The other is concave with a round opening. They each stand on their own 4 little feet, adding lightness and negative space. Hand built by the Artist, Helena Starcevic in stoneware, glazed with a sheer metallic glaze that shows the markings in the clay body. The very hot firing in a gas kiln adds depth and variation to the surface. From the Artist’s private collection. Signature chop at bottom. Bottom photo is a different listing shown here for scale.
