1950s Japanese White Glazed Porcelain Fish Figure

A Japanese white glazed, porcelain fish figure.

When using my steps listed below, no other similar items were found. It’s unique.

Right now I’m planning an out-of-state move and selling everything just to make the money back that I paid for it. In this case I paid $125 +25% = 156 plus tax. Asking price 215 – 30% for Chairish = 150.

Age: unknown. Guessing mid century.

Height: 11 inches

Width: 6 inches

Depth: 4.25 inches

Origin: Japan

Condition: Good. It’s a heavy piece. There is some crazy to the finish.

1. I use an app called Google lens to take a photo of any item. This will bring up similar items, how they are described, and how much they cost.

2. I do a Google search for the name of the item.

3. I do a search for the item by name on this site to learn about other similar items.
