A 19th century French rustic table from the Vosges region. Tables like this were multifunctional. People worked on them, sit on it, eat etc… Remarkable with this on is the one piece top. To find oak planks of this width the tree had to be gigantic. Probably a centuries old oak fell on a farmers grounds and they used every inch of it.
