Letter tray in sterling silver
Rectangular tray for correspondence, reproduction of specimens in silver very popular in the late Victorian era.
The scrolls design covers the entire bottom of the tray, leaving space in the central part for a shaped coat of arms where it is possible to engrave and then personalize the object with noble coats of arms, initials, etc.
The jagged edge with torchon motif makes the object very bright and elegant.
