An incredible find. These are a Pair of English Neo-Classical statuary marble reliefs, ca 1820. Depicted are a male and female winged Cupid on the bottom and two pudgy babies rising out of urns (also male and female) and surrounded by garlands, cornucopia and foliate designs, inspired by the Renaissance.
They were originally used as vertical risers on a fireplace mantle.
