Vintage Design
The 3 German floor lamps come from the possession of a design-loving collector. The manufacturer SERIEN was co-founded by Jean Marc La Costa and has some models with design prizes. The BASIS floor lamp was designed according to constructivist principles, the technical functional elements become a design element. These lights were made by hand and in small series. The spatial effect of the lights is very restrained and clearly of high quality. The indirect lighting reflected by the ceiling gives a very soft light, the illuminated ceiling makes the room higher and wider. An interesting light object, which is not often offered.
Slight signs of wear. We are offering up to 3 examples of this constructivist floor lamp from a well-kept private collection. The slide potentiometer of the dimmer is located in the base, the illuminant in the reflector at the top. The lights only shine on the ceiling and can be dimmed. A cord foot switch is also attached to one lamp, the dimmer no longer switches the light source off completely. In this way, the lamp can be disconnected from the power supply.
