Dionysus, god of wine in Greek mythology and son of Zeus, symbolizes abundance and excess, pronouncing an epicurean way of life, a life of celebration and madness. Fabric sofa formed by a single cushion. Its bohemian shape and voluptuous echoes the epicurean art of living of Dionysus, reminiscent of the couches of Ancient Greece. He dresses in natural materials (cotton linen, velvet…) by combining the color textile to that of its painted wooden legs, giving a block found in each piece of this collection by Moure / Studio. This colorful association has been the subject of a chromatic research, linking it to the rest of the collection. Moure / Studio is a Parisian interdisciplinary design studio founded in 2015 and specialised in interior design and furniture design. At Moure / Studio, we believe that emotion and confort arise from color and material, with sober design. This style is inspired by painting and artistics movements such as as the Bauhaus, De Stijl & the Memphis movement. We like to create sensitive atmospheres through exclusive sleek design which respects the architectural volumes and spotlights the vibration of color. Our ethics lead us to collaborate with craftsmen and women who share with us their know-how. We are convinced that enrichment requires the pooling of several talents.
