Swedish country work table in gustavian style from the early 1800s, most likely from the years between 1810 and 1820. The table is from Northern Sweden and is a strong piece with a sturdy construction and solid wood – a result of great craftsmanship. Painted pine in untouched original condition with a genuine patina after 200 years of use. The paint is all original and the paint on the table top and drawer is almost completely worn trough. Time and use has also given the wood a great patina. Straight tapered legs with a large centred drawer in the rim, the drawer also has the original wooden handle. Healthy and solid frame. Minor dry crack in the table top, see picture, but nothing that effects function or stability. Height to rim is 50 cm.
