This antique French Louis XV Walnut Needle point settee is the perfect choice in a cozy niche, reading area or bedroom. Handcarved from solid walnut, it features carved floral & foliate accents on the crown, apron, arms & legs. Original brass nail heads with an aged patina. Featuring a bouquet of flowers in needlepoint/petite point upholstery on a camel wool background. Multiple types of flowers are represented in the fine petit point bouquet. The original needlepoint is in exceptionally good condition. The frame is sturdy & solid with trim that wraps around the seat base attributing to its solid construction. seat to floor 18″ arm to floor 24″
