Attributed to Chapuis. The later circular black marble top above a frieze mounted with stylized laurel branches centered by flowerheads, raised on three square tapering legs surmounted by gilt-bronze classical female figure heads resting on gilded feet with further gilt-bronze mounts, the whole on a triform concave base on casters.
