Finn Hald Signed Norwegian Studio Pottery Wall Tile

A vintage illustrated ceramic tile by the Norwegian ceramicist Finn Hald of the husband and wife ceramic team Finn and Dagny Hald. Made during the 1960s or 70s, the rectangular wall tile has a brown border with an illustration of two medieval figures against a central blue ground. The two figures wear medieval clothing with heeled shoes and hold staffs as they turn toward one another. The tile is signed “Hald” on verso.
