A French ‘Gilda’ sofa designed by Michel Ducaroy for Ligne Roset in 1972. This piece is modular; when the curved units are aligned, it creates a circle. This ‘Gilda’ sofa includes three sections in original coral ref fabric. The sections can stand alone as lounge chairs, or they can be affixed together in the back with a rectangular chrome buckle. This set has a matching ottoman with a removable top in Ducaroy’s signature amber lucite. Unmarked. Sourced in France, 1970s.
Condition: Fair vintage condition. The original upholstery shows significant wear, including marks and stains, which can be seen in photographs. Reupholstery recommended; as age and use to the upholstery is evident. We have elected to sell it in its current state so the end user can select their fabric. Upholstery services are available through our showroom (Fabric + Upholstery Labor is not included in the purchase price).
