Construction: All wool pile on a cotton foundation, non depressed warp weave using Persian knotting techniques, multiple cord wrapped selvedge, short fringe end finish.
Design type: An all-over drawing of palmettes, floral forms and vines connecting in medium scale. The design style is Classic to this group and a standard of large decorative furnishing carpets. A delicate and well drawn palmette border frames the piece.
Color: A midnight blue background and complex range of earth tones using vegetable dye materials.
