A pair of Italian parcel-gilt and painted wooden brackets from the early 19th century, with carved acanthus leaves and nice patina. Created in Italy during the early years of the 19th century, this pair of wall brackets captures our attention with their white and gold colors perfectly complimenting their graceful lines. Topped with a rectangular bow front surface showcasing a dark color, each bracket is painted in a creamy white accented with gilded details. The three sides are adorned with the same motifs presenting C-scroll volutes made of acanthus leaves. The brackets are, as expected, unfinished in the back and are fitted with hardware to hook them up to the wall. Boasting a nicely distressed patina revealing its nice age, this pair of Italian painted and parcel-gilt wall brackets circa 1800 will make for a lovely addition to any home, perhaps hung on each side of an enfilade, a console table or a credenza!
