Vintage Design
Christian Girard is the designer who designed the Azimut collection. His inspiration comes from industrial lighting, which pushed him to create these light atmospheres. The base of his mobile light spot, which he created in 1969 was manufactured by General Electric. The projector is mobile thanks to the magnet that can move around the metal hemisphere. Christian Girard became very famous in the early 1960s when hundreds of Azimut spots were installed in Paris stores and Night Clubs.
