Spanish seat, in the curule styla, made circa 1880
The cordovan leather used for the seat is held in place by studs. Strips of embossed leather are used for the backrest and armrest decoration. At the rear, the backrest has been reinforced with a strip of leather on one side and new studs on the other side (please see two last photos).
