The scissor shelf (Benjamin Thut) was designed to be a compact, transportable package that can be assembled into furniture with minimal tools; the shelves extend like a lifting platform and are secured with an Allen key.
Spacing can be adjusted to 33 cm for folders or 28 cm for books – the shelves are made of black varnished ash, supported by a scissor grid made of anodised aluminum.
