Igor Korotash is a Soviet American artist born in 1957 who paints Impressionist landscapes in oil on canvas. His work is often colorful and features golden trees, flora, architectural elements, and other forms. Korotash studied at Kosiv Art College until 1978, when he began serving in the Soviet Army for two years. He continued to paint and exhibit his work during his service, but eventually became an industrial designer after returning to civilian life. Much of Korotash’s original work is contemporary and associated with the Impressionist style.
